Description:	INVESTOR NEEDED FOR SHORT HORROR FILM My company, Jordanfilm Empirical Pictures, is looking for a 5K investment to produce "Kill Devil Hill", a horror short about an unexplained murder in a small town. This project is extremely intense. However, it is far from a gore fest. This is a highly stylized and dramatic film, along the lines of "The Exorcist" and "The Shining." With a recent outbreak of killing sprees in the news, this film is more relevant than ever. It's also a mystery. There are clues scattered through out the film encouraging the viewer to watch it over and over again. This project is perfect for an investor looking to get involved in motion picture production but doesn't want all the risk associated with a large investment in a feature film. Two of my good friends own a camera rental/post house and a grip & lighting company so I can get equipment very inexpensively. Also, I am professional editor and I plan on doing about 90% of the post myself - another huge money saver. Lastly, the film features a cast of 4 and only two locations. It will be shot in 2-3 days and have extremely high production value for the budget. The film will be entered in horror film festivals in 2010. Digital downloads will be sold online to recoup investment. Hopefully, we will be able to get the iTunes store to sell the film. Marketing will mostly be online.
