Description:	No one expects their father to die in a car accident. But when Rose Davis and her mom flee California to Brookdale, NH, and move into her grandfather’s house near the lake called “the CLEAR” the seventeen year-old ‘s lingering fear, pain, and heartache … quickly heightens! Both Brookdale’s lake-centered town in southern New Hampshire and Rose’s agoraphobic grandfather’s home, were shrouded in uncertainty from the moment she arrived. And it wasn’t long before the mystifying lake, “the CLEAR” seduces Rose and she is lost in the surrounding woods. As the skies darkened, the shapely young girl senses someone is following her and she panics. She runs, stumbles, and then triggers a macabre animal trap. Though heroically saved by Morgan Thompson, a soft-spoken, eighteen year-old, whose warm smile and handsome face made her heart race faster than even the fear of the darkened woods, she now felt that her life in Brookdale was destined to be trapped. Their dramatic initial encounter and physical attraction for each other quickly built an intense bond. And when Morgan sees the severe reaction Rose has to the lake, he knows the baptismal waters of “the CLEAR,” had unleashed the howling spirits in her. And that once the full moon approached, Rose would undergo the powerful transformations that the descendants of the native Abnaki’s and he himself had learned to endure. He knew once the lunar rays would strike her face that her eyes would reveal… the glowing diamond halos of a werewolf Just like him she was now part human and part wolf. And they must never be apart if they are to survive Brookdale’s dark past. For centuries, the hunters around “the CLEAR” had been killing off the wolves and any thing that resembled them. Morgan had learned how to conceal his eyes, super natural strength and speed. And he had managed to distance himself from Brookdale’s cruel teenagers who called him a freak. But everything changed when the beautiful alluring Rose arrived. She was now being pursued by the town’s top athlete, whose father was the chief of police. Morgan knew he had to protect Rose from herself and her dangerous new surroundings. He knew Rose had not moved away from her late father’s home.
