LEAP YEAR-- Directed by Anand Tucker

(B) I found this film most entertaining.   It is very predictable, but that does not take away from its merit.  Amy Adams is totally at home in the role of a gal doing something daring to get her boyfriend to marry her. Matthew Goode fits very well in his role, as a guy she meets to help her in her quest to get to her boyfriend in Dublin. The adventure that ensues is fun and the scenery and cinematography are breathtaking. I think we will be seeing more of Matthew—he was in Watchmen and A Single Man (2009) and Leap Year and Cemetery Junction (2010).  He has a smile that lights up a room and the movie screen.
