Here I am again. I ran rinto a published novel, an interesting love story, in India. Set on the back ground of early princely state, during the earlier colonial rule in India, the subject is happening towards the early 19th century. It is a love affair between two subjects, and British residence working under the rule of the then Imperial Government, the headquarter being in Calcutta and a lovely young girl, from London looking for a job after her parents died, lands in India as a Governess for the daughters of the King, to teach them English manners and English.
A story that will reveal the entire culture and festivals in India during that time and the Colonial interference to the administration of the Kingdom by the King and his subjects. The British Resident, the Major of the military of the particular state another British subject, how they tackle the Indian subject, and the sons of the King both from the legal wife and the other concubines of the King.
The British Residence initially proves to be a hard nut to crack slowly falls for the lady from England and the story ends in both getting married and the King realises that the Resident was doing everything for the betterment of his subject.
Any one interested to know more about it and can produce this subject for International market can contact me through this medium.
