9 Months to Austin

Dear IPers,
Hello. Been busy around here. Decided to try my hand at producing as well. Just read Bankroll. Wow. I can do that. I even have the book that I want to write the screenplay for but it is already optioned by a pretty good producer so I asked if I could co-produce and pitched a deal to write the script. That was yesterday. Waiting for feedback.
I just sent out followup e-mails to a producer that has one of my Christmas scripts. Looking for some feedback on that as well.
Later today will be spending time at the hairdressers and mulching the yard and sending my comedy to a production company that I found via InkTip Preferred Newslaetter. I will take a break to listen to the Marvin Acuna teleseminar- oh, did I mention, that I took the day off from the day job? Well, I did.
Waiting to hear about the next steps on a film I am co-writer and co-producer on. Eight of us making this happen with the guidance of Chris Soth.
Then, later this weekend will spend time in the chair with the war love story that is THE ONE for Nichols and Austin Film Festival.
Maybe send out Easter cards as well.
Oh, husband says it's time to clean my car. I admit I trash the poor old thing. Shame on me. Wouldn't think of doing that to the house.
But no matter how many yellow birds I see there is that deadline pulling me back to the writers chair.
Best to all for now.
