(G) Barbara has always wanted to participate in a pageant, mostly because everyone keeps telling her that she should. A few weeks ago our son Mike came for a visit and told her that the Ms. Senior OC Pageant had a few spots left in the competition. Barbara decided to make the call and found out that there were only three days left to prepare. She had to create some new material for the talent section, buy a dress, learn a choreographed routine for the group performance and a speech for the judges with only two days rehearsals. Why did she do it?

(B) I don't know why I did it. It was an impulse that got the best of me. Now that it's over though, I'm glad for the experience.
