9 Months to Austin
|
|
Dear film lovers,
Fiorts, hope you all had a great turkey day.
Mine was great. Uneventful trip to Grandmother's house (my mom) in Tiffin, Ohio and some pumpkin pie. Life is good in spite of the cold both the hubby and I picked up in the process.
As far as scripts go. GREAT progress. The script I have earmarked for Austin comp is tructurally cured thanks to the Save the Cat series. And now I will take it through the other 15 steps of the Screenwriters U Pro-rewrite course. Then it will get sent in. Best line; You had me at niece. But the comp doesn't close it's doors until May so I do have the time to really make this one shine. Titled, War Crossed LOvers. It follows to first loves as the fall back in love again after forty years, just to have past life regressions break them up again. Some misunderstandings about their WWII life that was also tragically ended. If they can forgive the unforgiveable maybe then they can be together.
In the meantime, I have two Christmas scripts with a Canadian producer and they have asked to see a third that is getting the same STC re-write. Working on structure still. I think I have it fixed, now juast have to get the dualling characters' beat sheets on the pages. Quite a process.
That's all for now.
The day job calls.
