I'm shooting one of my scripts because I'm sick of waiting for people to finance me.

No Budget Preproduction

ImgPrivenShare

I am shooting my script for as little as I can, since, I am like alot of you out there with great creative ideas and no money. I am prepared for many techno geeks to denigrate my ideas, but to be great is to be misunderstood ;)

I will shoot this thing on a Kodak ZI8 to prove it isn't the camera, it's the filmmaker; it records to sd cards; and I have no money. I have rewritten the script to be inexpensive, but I still need one big set piece.

A boat. 90% of the film is shot on a sailboat. It should be 60 feet, but through the magic of film, I cam make a 40 foot look like a 60 foot.

So, get the word out, fellow filmmakers. Somebody knows somebody with a boat. I wouldn't need it for a long block of time, but a week would be nice. Otherwise, a day here and a day there for a few months would also work.\

Hey, if you don't ask, no one can answer!

Go for it my friend. Grab whoever you need to get your project shot, and don't worry about about the fact that they are not L.A. super stars. Here is the point. The more you shoot the better you get the more people you draw in to your projects...the money WILL COME. David Soma S.F. Ca.
